Join Margaret and Judy in the lovingly restored Chapel at Babbington Park.

Our two day Stitching Retreats are an opportunity for you to escape to the pretty Spa Region of Central Victoria.

 

We host both Winter and Spring Retreats here, to take advantage of the seasonal changes in the garden and produce.

 

Classes are for two days, and you'll receive all the tuition you need to stitch our 'Retreat Project', or a quilt of either Margaret or Judy’s design. You may continue stitching on an existing quilt project or perhaps begin something new.

A kit for our Retreat Project will be supplied and is included in your class fee.

 

Annie Smithers, the renowned chef and owner of Du Fermier and Babbington Park, will be preparing our delicious wintery lunches and Morning teas to keep us toasty warm while we stitch in the chapel.  Annie’s farm style produce and her books will be available to purchase.

Accommodation is not included, but you will find many delightful B&B/Guesthouse options in the surrounding area, not too far from Babbington Park, Lyonville.

 

July 2025: Mon 7th & Tues 8th or Weds 9th & Thurs 10th.  Bookings will open in February.

November 2025: Mon 10th & Tues 11th or Weds 12th & Thurs 13th.  November bookings will open July 2025

 

We are unable to accommodate sewing machines at our retreats.
